Summer started a while ago, and I have already finished one of the books on my TBR-Summerlist. But recently I went to the library to pick some other books and these are the four I chose for my Summer reading.

How did I pick them? Honestly, whenever I go to the library, I just pick the books that I can find. That are also on my TBR-list of course. The library doesn’t have a very big English section, and I like to read my books in their original language.

The last time I went to the library I picked up the courage to go to the YA-section too. It’s in the kids corner, and I find it weird to go there… But I did it and it turned out great!

My Summer reading list

Turtles All The Way Down – John Green

I already started this book and so far, I’m not blown away. Since The Fault In The Stars, I feel like I want to read every John Green book. But the ones I read – Looking for Alaska and Paper Towns – are disappointing. It’s an okay enough book to keep reading, so who knows! The ending better be good.

Far From The Tree – Robin Benway

This book sounds like an important read, with themes like adoption, teen pregnancy and foster care. It might not be the light read I usually pick for Summer, but this book just sounds too good to wait.

I’ll Give You The Sun – Jandy Nelson

I feel like this book got a lot of hype and I still see it sometimes sneak into pictures of bloggers and Instagrammers. It is about time I read it, right?! Also, it’s about twins that are inseparable at first, but years later don’t talk anymore. I can’t wait!

Every Breath – Nicholas Sparks

I feel like the other books – maybe apart from I’ll Give You The Sun – are a bit heavy. So I wanted to pick a book I knew would have a hell of a romantic story. We all know Nicholas Sparks always delivers just that. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a beach day that I can read this book in one sitting.

Which books are you reading this Summer?
