My personal life has been hectic too. First off, I got sick twice, which is not really ideal when the Holiday season is coming up. Luckily, I recovered in time for the festive activities began.

Christmas was just around the corner, and that also meant working more hours at my supermarket job. It was so busy with people stressing for Christmas dinner, that the 6 hours felt more like 12. But hey, it pays the bills right?

Luckily I got to celebrate Christmas in peace. Christmas Eve was spend at my boyfriend’s house, where we had dinner with his whole family. After that we played a game and went to bed late. I must say; a pretty perfect evening. Christmas morning we had breakfast with just the two of us, since the rest of the family was going away to other relatives. We relaxed for a while and played Mario Party on his Game Cube and then went over to my house to have dinner with my family. 10 people in total, all around one table, it was lovely
The next day, second Christmas day (yes, that’s a thing in the Netherlands) I had to work again as the only one of the family… I was bummed, because the family made plans to go to the beach and I couldn’t come along. But at night, I watched a show back that aired Saturday night, about reuniting families and lovers for Christmas and it was wonderful. Tears were flowing and chocolate was my comfort food. Perfect ending to another Christmas.

How was your Christmas? Do you have any plans yet for New Year’s Eve?
