My top six auto-add authors
I have been in such a blogging slump lately, as you may have noticed. Life is just rough and busy right now that I haven’t been in the right mind space. BUT, thanks to Beth @ Booksnest, I got some inspiration for blog posts that really helped. Today on the blog: my auto-add authors.
I want to make a little note here to say that the prompt originally was auto-buy, but I’m not someone who buys a lot of books. I don’t even have a book case, just one shelves which isn’t full yet. But there are some authors that I LOVE, and I will immediately put all of there books on my TBR, even when I don’t know what the book is about. That’s why I changed the title from auto-buy to auto-add.
Sarah Dessen

I think I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again and again and again: I adore Sarah Dessen’s books! Some might not be as great as another, but so far I have loved every story. I love the romance. I love the stories. And I love her writing style. A fun plus is that some characters have cameos in another book and I really like it when an author does that. Definitely an auto-add author. And now that I think about it, I should really reread her books!
My favorite book: Along For The Ride (the one that I stuck with me most)
Read my review of Once And For All
Nicholas Sparks

Alright, I have to say I haven’t read all of his books and those I haven’t read aren’t on my TBR. That’s mostly because I’ve seen those movies and reading the book after the movie… I just don’t like that.
But I have read quite a few of his books, some before the movies came out. And I will say that whenever I see that he wrote a new book, I will add it. I love his complex romantic stories. Usually heartbreaking, but also so so beautiful..
My Favorite book: The Best Of Me
Read my review of Every Breath
Jennifer E. Smith

This is a new addition to the list. I read one of her books, and it was amazing. Then I read another one and again: Amazing. Then the third one really sold me and made me go to Goodreads to add all of her books to my TBR.
My Favorite book: Hello, Goodbye And Everything In Between
Read my review of The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight
Jill Mansell

There’s something about her books. It has romance. It has laughter. But it also has something deeper sometimes. They are a sure-way to a great read. I just know I will at least like the book, so I Always add her books.
My favorite book: Three Amazing Things About You
Read my review of Three Amazing Things about you
Also read my review of You And Me, Always
Read my review of The Unpredictable Consequences of Love
Morgan Matson

I couldn’t make this list without Morgan Matson in the mix of course! I have loved all her books and I love following her on Instagram. Now I know that she is working on her sixth book and I can’t wait for it to come out!
My favorite book: The Unexpected Everything
Read my review of The Unexpected Everything
Read my review of Save The Date
Becky Albertalli

Another author that I recently ‘discovered’, but already love. I read What If It’s Us and loved it. But it was written by two authors, so I didn’t think anything of it. Then I read The Upside of Unrequited and that book was amazing. The Simon book didn’t speak to me, but my library had it as an e-book, so I decided to try it out and I loved it! So from now on I auto-add her books to my TBR.

Hey there!
My name is Jas, welcome to my blog. XIV is about my life around my lucky number. You’ll find anything from songs and books to trips and family stuff.
Becky Albertalli is an auto-add author for me too. I haven’t loved all her books, but I liked enough of them that I want to read them all.
I get that! I have that with some authors too. That’s probably why my TBR is so massive…
I auto-buy/auto-add books from Becky Albertalli and Morgan Matson too. Although I’ve never actually read a Morgan Matson book (yet) haha. But I read her book series that she wrote as “Katie Finn” and love them, so I’m sure I’ll love her other books haha.
They are so great! i actually haven’t read any Katie Finn books, so I might have to try those. 🙂
I’ve only read 2 or 3 of Jennifer E Smith’s books but I’ve enjoyed them all so much! I really want to read her other ones. I also have like the one book I’ve read by Morgan Matson, I really should get to more of her books as well.
Ahh I hope you’ll love the ones you’ll read! I’m a contemporary lover (as if that’s not obvious from this list 😂) and they really are some of the best authors for that!
Thank you so much for stopping by 🙂
Ahh this is a lovely list! Morgan Matson certainly is an auto-add, buy and read authors, I adore all of her contemporary reads so, so much! <3
She writes some of the best ones! Can’t wait for her new book that comes out next year 😀
