Is it just me, or did February felt longer than January?

Here in the Netherlands, the weather hasn’t been that great. We had some big storms, three weekends in a row, and it was just grey all the time. It rained, there was a lot of wind and the temperature wasn’t that good either. I cannot wait till Summer gets here, or just some kind of warmer weather!

It was a good month to read though. I stayed in a lot and read. It’s always nice to sit under a blanket when it’s pouring outside. The bad part is that our roof is leaking and with this rain and wind it just got worse. BUT enough about the weather, let’s dive into February.

February in books

Books I read

I’ve had a great reading month. In numbers, I should add. Although I am cheating a little bit, because I was already halfway through a book when the month started. But still. I finished five books this month. The ratings aren’t that great, because the books were just… okay. Except for The Five-Year Plan. That one made its way up to my list of favorites.

Books I hauled

Remember in January, when I said I was updating my enormous TBR list with all the book prices? Yeah, I wasn’t finished and ended up buying four more e-books in February. Next to that, I got an eARC (The Five-Year Plan) and I went to the library twice (Modern Lovers and All The Little Pieces). I think I’m good for the rest of the year now…

February in the blogosphere

This month, I wrote a lot of reviews again and tried to do some other things too. I also added a category to my blog that you can see in the menu above. I will be talking more about my life and health because I feel like it. If you want to know more about me and my life with a heart condition, that’s the place to look!

This subheading was also supposed to have a part where I link to other blogs that have amazing content. The thing is, I’m not that organised (yet) in saving blog posts I like. That’s something I want to work on in March, so hopefully the next wrap-up will shine some light on blogs that deserve it.

Looking into March

There is A LOT happening in March. Mostly personal stuff that I will be talking about in the new category. Book wise, I’m still in the middle of The Problem With Forever. The Au Pair is waiting for me to pick up next.

What have you been doing in February? Did you have a good (reading) month? What’s in store for you in March?
