The Sunshine Sisters: a book review
I’m not reading as fast as I thought I could read lately. Therefore, I missed another book review-Monday.
But! Here I am, with another book review. This time, the book The Sunshine Sisters by Jane Green is being reviewed.
A little synopsis: The Sunshine Girls are together again, called home by their mother Ronni, who has learned that she has a serious disease and needs her daughters to fulfill her final wishes. And though Nell, Meredith, and Lizzy are all going through crises of their own, their mother s illness draws them together to confront old jealousies and secret fears and they discover that blood might be thicker than water after all.

The negatives
Like last time, I’m starting with the negatives. The thing I didn’t like about this book was that it started just a little confusing. Though later on I realized it was neccessary for the character building, but I must say it was hard to get into it.
And that’s all there is as far as the negative points.
The positives
So I totally adored this book. When you get through the start, it is a beautiful story about family. I have sisters of my own, and this book is foremost a story about the three sisters.

I really liked the characters in this book. Each so different, but really well written out. Like I said, the first couple of chapters are good for the character building.
The relatioships between the characters is what I love most about this book and it is pretty much the biggest part of the story. I’m a sucker for a good book about love and this definitely is one. Though it’s not the romantic love I usually read.
Final rating
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. ⭐
