#5OnMyTBR | Holiday Events
Welcome back to another #5OnMyTBR! I have to say, going through my TBR to search for books for these posts is 1. very cool because I get excited again to read some of the books that have been on my TBR for YEARS and 2. Very cleansing because there are also some books that don’t excite me anymore and so far I have removed 50 (!!!!!) books from my TBR!
Let’s get on to the books of this week.
#5OnMyTBR is a bookish meme hosted by E. @ Local Bee Hunter’s Nook and you can learn more about it here or in the post announcing it. It occurs every Monday when we post about 5 books on our TBR.
This weeks prompt was Holiday Events/Easter free day. I’ll try to find as many books with Holiday events as possible, but honestly, I don’t think I have 5.
These #5OnMyTBR are about holiday events

1. Mutts And Mistletoe – Natalie Cox
Added to my TBR: December 2018
Charlie is not feeling the Christmas spirit when she is forced to live with her cousin for a while and take care of the doggy day care center. Even though she is not a dog person (how?!). Of course there are some added things to it, like sick dogs, a cute vet and a strange stalker. I’m just really excited to read about dogs.
2. My True Love Gave To Me: Twelve Holiday Stories
Added to my TBR: December 2019
A lot of great authors wrote a story for this anthology and I can’t wait to read it. I never thought I would like books with shorter stories, but Let It Snow didn’t disappoint, so I would definitely read this one too. Plus: it’s about Christmas time (and other Holidays) and love, two ingredients that I absolutely love!
3. The Floating Feldmans – Elyssa Friedland
Added to my TBR: May 2019
Okay, a total other take on ‘Holiday’, because I don’t have any other books. This book is about a family on a cruise to celebrate the mom’s birthday. But there are family secrets and siblings rivalries, and it sounds like a fun read! Being stuck together and having to face the problems. I love books about family relationships!
4. The Jetsetters – Amanda Eyre Ward
Added to my TBR: March 2020
I believe this was a Reese Witherspoon book club book, and that got me interested. Then I read what the book is about and got even more interested. Just like the previous book, it’s a family cruis that’s making me add it to this list. And again, there are family secrets and regrets and I can’t wait!
Okay guys, I really couldn’t find any other book that I thought would fit somehow, so I’ll just stop here.
